SRML PDG - Simulation Reference Markup Language
The SRML Product Development Group (PDG) is working on standardization of a simulation markup language and corresponding simulation engine specification based on the Simulation Reference Markup Language (SRML). The SRML language specification will include both a concept of operations (including engine description) and an XML tag set with descriptive text. The engine specification will include an engine object model and an Application Program Interface (API) reference. An SRML User Guide will also be developed during this project.

SRML promotes web-based simulation and facilitates delivery of models via the Web, and is thus positioned to support existing and future advancements in grid computing. Interested parties are welcome to attend. The PDG meeting will include a tutorial on SRML goals and underlying principles, and will also include open discussions on near-term SRML PDG activities.
