The Environmental Data Representation Standards Product Support Group (EDRS PSG) supports the SEDRIS family of ISO/IEC standards. The activities of the EDRS PSG include:
- Maintaining liaison with the ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 24 organization, the SEDRIS Organization, and the community of environmental data representation users and practitioners
- Providing the M&S community a forum for the post standardization support and maintenance of the SEDRIS family of ISO/IEC standards
- The development, implementation, and promotion of related tools
- The creation of a forum for community education on application and use of the standards
Currently, the EDRS PSG provides a forum for the post standardization support of the following ISO/IEC Standards:
- ISO/IEC 18023-1, SEDRIS -- Part 1: Functional specification
- ISO/IEC 18023-2, SEDRIS -- Part 2: Abstract transmittal format
- ISO/IEC 18023-3, SEDRIS -- Part 3: Transmittal format binary encoding
- ISO/IEC 18024-4, SEDRIS language bindings -- Part 4: C
- ISO/IEC 18025, Environmental Data Coding Specification (EDCS)
- ISO/IEC 18041-4, EDCS language bindings -- Part 4: C
- ISO/IEC 18026, Spatial Reference Model (SRM)
- ISO/IEC 18042-4, SRM language bindings -- Part 4: C
