General Paul F. Gorman In May, 1985, General Paul F. Gorman retired from the U.S. Army, forty years from the date of his enlistment in the Navy during World War II. In his final assignment, he was Commander-in-Chief, United States Southern Command.
Since his retirement, the General has operated a consulting, research and development firm at his farm, Cardinal Point, where he also raises cattle and wine grapes. He has served with three White House Commissions: the Commission on Organized Crime, the Packard Commission on Defense Management, and the Commission on Long Term Integrated Strategy. He is also a consultant for the Institute for Defense Analyses and the Defense Science Board, and an Assistant Professor for Research in the Department of Neurosurgery, UVA's Health Sciences Center, dealing with issues concerning advanced information technology for health care.
General Gorman has been an innovator in the Army's use of information technology, both on active duty and since. In 1995 the Society for Computer Simulation International presented him its Founders Award for Distinguished Service, citing "his many pioneering contributions to the methodology and application of simulation to military defense and preparedness."

Robert Salinas Interactive Creations, Inc. Robert "GunJam" Salinas is the VP of Marketing and Sales at Interactive Creations Incorporated (ICI). He along with partners Dale "HiTech" Addink and John "Killer" MacQueen founded ICI in 1995 with the idea of creating 3D, real-time games to be played over the internet. ICI's first game, "War Birds", has been a success grossing about a million dollars in sales; it is a large scale (200 players at a time), platform level simulation of W.W.II aviation with participants from 60 countries.
Today, online gaming is the hottest segment of the computer entertainment industry, and ICI is meeting it's increased demands with a growing staff and a merge with I-Magic. Recently, ICI also released a new mult-player game called "Planetary Raiders" where individual players interact with each other in a 'persistent' virtual world maintained by a central server.
