SISO’s EXCOM has approved interactive templates for use in submitting selected Reports and Announcements, and to provide information and guidance during PDG and PSG Kickoff Meetings:

REPORTS: 
    Product Support Group Annual Report. Due to the SAC on 1 September.
    
    Standing Study Group Annual Report.  Due to the SAC on 1 September. 

    Study Group Final Report. Due to the SAC upon completion of the SG work effort. Should be approved by the SAC and EXCOM prior to moving to the next phase, if warranted.

Remember: Once you have completed your report/announcement, please submit it to SISO-SAC@discussions.sisostds.org for SAC consideration/approval. 

TERMS OF REFERENCE (TORs) and PRODUCT NOMINATIONS (PNs):
    Terms of Reference (TORs) (P&P para 3.6), are required to initiate a Study Group (SG), Standing Study Group (SSG), or a Product Support Group (PSG). Links to approved TORs may be found at the bottom of the respective SG, SSG, and PSG pages in the left hand menu. TOR forms are in Appendix B of the P&P. The Appendix B format should be followed when completing the form on-line.

SISO’s P&P, para 3.6, describes SISO Study Groups (SG) and Standing Study Groups (SSG). The BPDSP, para 4.4.8 describes Product Support Groups (PSGs). 

    Product Nominations (PNs) (BPDSP sections 4.1.3.1 - 4.1.3.10) are required to initiate a Product Development Group (PDG). Examples of approved PNs may be found at the bottom of the Product Development Groups page in the left hand menu. PN forms are in Appendix A of the BPDSP, or may be completed on-line

TORs and PNs must be approved by the responsible oversight committee - usually the SAC - and EXCOM prior to the commencement of group activity.

KICKOFF PRESENTATIONS:
    The PDG Kickoff Briefing should be used to provide information and guidance to prospective PDG members during the initial PDG meeting followig EXCOM approval of their PN. Current SISO membership (P&P para 6.2.3), and submission of relevant affiliation data (BPDSP para 4.2.3.4) are requirements to be a voting member of a PDG.  

    The PSG Kickoff Briefing should be used to provide information and guidance to prospective PSG members during the initial PSG meeting following EXCOM approval of their TOR. Current SISO membership (P&P para 6.2.4), and submission of relevant affiliation data (BPDSP para 4.5.3.4) are requirements to be a voting member of a PSG.
