Welcome to the Fall 2007 edition of the SISO Simulation Technology On-Line Magazine. With each passing year we realize more and more how the M&S community is growing and evolving and how the SISO family is making a greater impact on that community by providing much needed standards products, forums for lively intellectual exchange and venues for sharing of experiences, products and services. Judging by the level of interactions, the lively debates and the genuine concern for one another's professionsal and personal lives, SISO is truely a family. We think that is great!

SISO continues to provide excellent solutions to real issues and leave a lasting and positive impact on our community and those we serve. We can see that in the many study groups and product development groups that are working hard. We also see it in the more visible role SISO in playing in shaping the M&S community. We hope the insights provided in thsi on-line magazine will provide at least a small appreciation for these facts.

We are committed to a continual effort of exploring new ideas for insuring that both the SISO Simulation Technology On-Line Magazine stay current, interesting and packed full of outstanding content. We are always looking at ways for organizing the On-Line version of the magazine around a set of regular features aimed at bringing the latest insights from various aspects of our profession. We truly appreciate the contributions of all of our volunteers as well as the contributions of the excellent staff at UCF/IST that helps bring this all together for us.

As always we are open to your ideas and participation so don't hesitate to contact us. And if you like what you see, please share what you're doing with us by submitting an article for future editions.

Thanks,

Sharon and Mike
