SISO-ADM-001-2018: Policy for Product Identification
Products developed by the Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization (SISO) require unique product identifiers. These product identifiers provide an unambiguous reference for a published product. This is critical for configuration management of the products, making them visible and discoverable, and immediately recognizable by users. This document provides the format, scheme, and controls for the unique identification of SISO Products.


SISO-ADM-002-2017: SISO Policies & Procedures (update approved Jun 19 2017)
This Policies and Procedures (P&P) document provides the definition of SISO and its procedures for operation. Key SISO concepts are summarized here with further details provided within the main body of the document.


SISO-ADM-003-2011: SISO Balloted Products Development and Support Process (BPDSP) (update approved 14 Nov 11) 
The SISO Standards Activity Committee (SAC) manages the development of SISO Products according to the SISO General Operating Principles, Technical Acceptance Principles and Standards Principles as stated in the SISO Policies & Procedures (P&P) and mentioned throughout this document.

SISO-ADM-003.1-2017:  Ballot Group Balancing – Changing Representation Category (update approved 12 Nov 2017)   The purpose of this document is to clarify criteria for identifying and changing an individual’s representation category during the process of balancing balloting groups. This document provides those criteria until they can be incorporated into the next update to the BPDSP.


SISO-ADM-004-2009: SISO Vision Document 
SISO will serve the global community of modeling and simulation professionals, providing an open forum for the collegial exchange of ideas, the examination and advancement of M&S-related technologies and practices, and the development of standards and other products that enable greater M&S capability, interoperability, credibility, reuse, and cost-effectiveness.


SISO-ADM-005-2011The Style and Format of SISO Documents (update approved 13 Jun 11)
It is important that all SISO products reflect a consistent level of content and format.  This SISO Administrative Document establishes guidelines for the overall outline and format required for the creation of SISO products.


SISO-ADM-006-2005: CC Speaker Subcommittee Guidelines
The purpose of this document is to provide the CC Speaker Subcommittee guidelines concerning SISO
plenary Speaker operations such as recommendations, invitations, coordination, welcome and luncheon for the workshops/conferences.


SISO-ADM-007-2005: Guide for Paper Evaluation and Review and SIWzie Award
The purpose of this Guide for Simulation Interoperability Workshop Paper Evaluation and Review and
SIWzie Award is to provide a consistent process for the evaluation and selection of abstracts, papers, and SIWzies.


SISO-ADM-008-2007: Inquiry into Undue Influence/Dominance of the DIS PDG   
On 4 May 2007, Mr Frank Hill posted a Request for Inquiry Into Undue Influence/Dominance in the Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) Product Development Group (PDG) (Attachment 1). The Chair of the Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization (SISO) Standards Activity Committee (SAC), Mr Mark McCall, formed a subcommittee to conduct the requested inquiry and report back to the SAC.


 SISO-ADM-009-2008: A Timeline for Communities Hosting a Simulation Interoperability Workshop (SIW) (approved 15 Feb 08)
(Please note that this is, necessarily, a generic schedule derived from requirements for past SIWs hosted in several cities nationwide. Early and constant coordination with the Conference Committee is essential to smooth planning and preparation for an SIW.)

SISO-ADM-015-2008: SAC PDG-PSG Survey Results and Recommendations Final Report (approved 8 December 2008)
This document identified as the “SAC PDG-PSG Survey Results and Recommendations” provides a summary of the PDG and PSG surveys as well as enumerating a number of recommendations to SISO management.


SISO-ADM-016-2013:  SISO Awards and Recognitions Program
The “SISO Awards and Recognition Program” provides award nominators and reviewers guidance for the nomination and selection of SISO awards or and recognition. This update revises the Letter of Appreciation Process, provides for standards development recognition and replaces "Awards Committee" with "Awards Board".(Update approved by the  EXCOM 6 Mar 13).


SISO-ADM-017:   IEEE-SA Sponsor Policies and Procedures for Standards Development
In 2009, the IEEE Standards Association, Standards Board (SASB) Audit Committee  (AudCom) directed all sponsors develop sponsor policies and procedures based on baseline policies and procedures provided by the Audit Committee. In 2010 the Audit Committee directed that such policies and procedures be separate from any policies and procedures of SISO. This document serves to meet the requirements of the IEEE SASB AudCom with respect to sponsor policies and procedures.


SISO-ADM-018:  Policies and Procedures for Working Groups Formed Under the Standards Activity Committee
In 2009, the IEEE Standards Association, Standards Board (SASB) Audit Committee  (AudCom) directed all working groups develop sponsor policies and procedures based on baseline policies and procedures provided by the Audit Committee. In 2010 the Audit Committee directed that such policies and procedures be separate from any policies and procedures of SISO. This document serves to meet the requirements of the IEEE SASB AudCom with respect to working group policies and procedures.


SISO-ADM-019-2011: SISO Strategic Plan; 2011-2015
This document communicates to the SISO membership the strategic plans to meet the objective of the organizatiuon as defined in the SISO Vision document, SISO-ADM-004-2010. As a result of events during 2008 and 2009, the EXCOM undertook to revise SISO's direction to increase the organization's viability for the future. This document is the result of a strategic planning process that began at the Fall 2008 Simulation Interoperability Workshop (SIW) in September 2008, and continued to the publication of this document.
