What is a Product Support Group?

A Product Support Group (PSG) is formed as a result of a completed product development and approval of a Terms of Reference.  The PSG serves as a central point for interpretations of product language, for providing help desk support to the SISO community, and for accepting, developing, and maintaining problem reports/change requests to support future product revisions.  All PSG members shall be SISO members and shall complete the affiliation data form.

You are considered a Member of a specific PSG if you have...
1.  Registered with our site. To register select "Log In" at the top left of the page, select "Register", and complete the registration form.
2.  A current SISO membership (required by SISO-ADM-002).
3.  Completed the Affiliation Data Form for the group you are joining (located at the bottom of each group's webpage).

To stay informed, be sure to subscribe to the PSG discussion.  Go to the Discussion Board, select the PSG discussions of interest, and then select Subscribe.

The PDG is analyzing user requirements, use cases, and technology relevant to providing interoperability for live simulations and is developing products that implement a functional architecture with clear definitions for specific interfaces which should be standardized. The approach for standardizing the proposed UCATT interfaces is to generate a family of related products with multiple elements and where each member of the family addresses a particular interface. The overarching standard that will be submitted to SISO for approval will specify all physical interfaces incrementally. Each physical interface will be included as an appendix to the specification.
